The referee ignored SACRIFICIO FC's protests and gave Jonathan Eufrasio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, SACRIFICIO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Eufrasio to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute Nunez Menendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Pepillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Menendo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th minute, Nunez Menendo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After recieving a nice pass, SACRIFICIO FC's Raul Demario tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rigoberto Pepillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Peli in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Nunez Menendo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SACRIFICIO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Nunez Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Pepillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Peli in the 42nd minute of the match. If Nunez Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Palominos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Peli came free, but Rigoberto Pepillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Pepillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Peli in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomero Jordy to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Rogelio Lehoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palominos FC and the SACRIFICIO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SACRIFICIO FC booed when Palominos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as SACRIFICIO FC's Nunez Menendo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rigoberto Pepillo. That made the score 0-3 after 60 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in SACRIFICIO FC's zone, Baldomero Jordy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Itzaina came out of the goal and Baldomero Jordy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cristobal Peli came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the SACRIFICIO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Peli couldn't finish the play. With his leg Rigoberto Pepillo managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when SACRIFICIO FC's Nunez Menendo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carlos Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Raul Demario's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Rigoberto Pepillo on his right side and into the goal. 73 minutes into the game it was 0-4.
