Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eriberto Maxin kicked off to start the match. Juan Tomi struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Atilano Kemen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tejas. Romulo Jordy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Urdaspal having to interfere. If Marco Mattin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Marco Mattin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvear's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Mattin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceferino Urdaspal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 16 played minutes Tejas got a freekick which was hit by Adan Heli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Mattin in the 21st minute of play forced Tejas's goalkeeper Ceferino Urdaspal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tejas's Adan Heli pulled a muscle in his back after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 25 minutes into the game, Severino Dorio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alvear's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tejas the free kick. In the 26th minute, Severino Dorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ceferino Urdaspal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Jordy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Alvear's Romulo Jordy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ceferino Urdaspal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Alvear's Baldomero Foro got a free kick in the 36th minute. Romulo Jordy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Tomi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Atilano Kemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Garci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Mattin was the one to do the kick off. Antonio Etxekopar's late challenge caught a Alvear's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Etxekopar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Tejas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Etxekopar to maneuver through the defense. Marco Mattin might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ceferino Urdaspal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Mattin ran back to his position shaking his head. Atilano Kemen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Tomi in the 60th minute of the match. When Juan Tomi came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Tejas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Tomi couldn't finish the play. If Eriberto Maxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Jordy got free with Ceferino Urdaspal in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 71 minutes, Romulo Jordy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvear's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Jordy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Alvear getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Nicolas Checa hit a great ball. If Juan Tomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Suero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Urdaspal having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Alvear got a freekick which was hit by Placido Chorche. When Alvear's Marco Mattin in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tejas's goalie prevented a goal. 93 minutes in the game, Romulo Jordy fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ceferino Urdaspal having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Eustacio Jaunti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Alvear supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alvear would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
