After a defensive mix-up in Pastarama's zone, Isaias Sauveur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Montae came out of the goal and Isaias Sauveur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eulalio Fernendo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The supporters of Florentina FC booed when Pastarama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastarama's Hector Montae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Sauveur in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Pastarama's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Sauveur came free, but Hector Montae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaias Sauveur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Montae having to interfere. Eulalio Fernendo was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Florentina FC's Eulalio Fernendo got a free kick in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Alejo Iztal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Florentina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pastarama the free kick. After 43 played minutes, Pastarama's Roque Patrido shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mariano Ursino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pastarama reached it. After having played for 47 minutes, Damaso Che managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pastarama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Che was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gaspar Frisco made the kick off in the second half. Damaso Che received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mariano Ursino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaias Sauveur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Damaso Che sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Abeita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Montae having to interfere. A collision led to Pastarama getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Rosendo Ticho hit a great ball. Pastarama's Hector Montae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Laffitte in the 87th minute of play. Isaias Sauveur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hector Montae having to make a save. 95 minutes into the match, Florentina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Che came free, but Mariano Ursino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florentina FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
