When Omar Milian fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Remedios AFC's protests and gave Omar Milian a yellow card for diving instead. Omar Milian hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Remedios AFC's goalkeeper Godfredo Karmel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomiro Orlondon. Bernardo Berbiz's late challenge caught a Arminda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Berbiz helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Remedios AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Berbiz. Godfredo Karmel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Sergi, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Severo Rodas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Maximiliano Clemencin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arminda's Maximiliano Clemencin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Rodas in the 27th minute of play. Segundo Sergi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Remedios AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Sergi came free, but Godfredo Karmel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remedios AFC's Remigio Bidun suffered a sore thigh after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Arminda getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ruben Daunte hit a great ball. Arminda's Baldomiro Orlondon got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Segundo Sergi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Segundo Sergi to make the kick off. Godfredo Karmel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Sergi in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Remedios AFC's zone, Segundo Sergi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godfredo Karmel came out of the goal and Segundo Sergi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Severo Rodas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Remedios AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Rodas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severo Rodas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximiliano Clemencin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Remedios AFC's Celso Bartuelo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Arminda. Maximiliano Clemencin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severo Rodas in the 74th minute. In the 79th minute, Baldomiro Orlondon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celso Bartuelo's late challenge caught a Arminda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Orlondon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Karmel having to interfere.
