But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Bazil couldn't finish the play. Rosendo Goyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosendo Goyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damaso Asteri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Nicanor Bazil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Asteri having to interfere. Rosendo Goyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Damaso Asteri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Godofredo Venerando made the kick off in the second half. If Silvestre Raymon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Goyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rosendo Goyo got free with Damaso Asteri in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hernan Florin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Asteri having to interfere. Rosendo Goyo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Damaso Asteri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trejos. Damaso Asteri made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Rosendo Goyo sent off a good shot on target. When Hernan Florin came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Trejos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Florin couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Rosendo Goyo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 89 minutes into the match, Alpasinche FC's goalkeeper Damaso Asteri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ildefonso Min.
