Villas Industriales FC's Lucio Oliverio pulled a muscle in his leg after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 23 minutes, Julio Rutenio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calingasta and the Villas Industriales FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Orlando Araoz struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Calingasta's Gregorio Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Sayveon in the 56th minute of play. Sixto Palban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Giro having to interfere. Pastor Giro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Palban in the 70th minute of play. If Eloy Sayveon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Eloy Sayveon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Mel having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Sixto Palban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calingasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Palban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Villas Industriales FC's Pastor Giro got control of the ball when Orlando Araoz tried to sneak it across the goal line.
