After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Justino Fagondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A Interplayer's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Fagondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Sustrai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Modesto Sustrai stood somewhat misplaced when Hector Baraquiel came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 13 minute. After 24 minutes of play, Bombal's Gavino Viviano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Siro Chuse was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the match, Gavino Viviano notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of C.A Interplayer's Siro Chuse. Siro Chuse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd match minute, Bombal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Eudoxio to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Gavino Viviano managed to get in a good position for a shot. When Matias Toli came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Bombal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Toli couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Baraquiel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Toli in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siro Chuse saved C.A Interplayer from getting behind. 60 minutes into the game, Gilberto Jurgi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A Interplayer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bombal the free kick. Gilberto Jurgi hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Siro Chuse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Toli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to C.A Interplayer getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gilberto Jurgi hit a great ball. Bombal's Gavino Viviano got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 74 minutes, Cristian Tabby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bombal and the C.A Interplayer players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of C.A Interplayer booed when Bombal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Tabby didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hector Baraquiel came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the C.A Interplayer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Baraquiel couldn't finish the play.
