After a rather tough play, Encina's Godfredo Ostargi got a free kick in the 16th minute. A collision led to Encina getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Roman Ferdinand hit a great ball. But to his dismay, Sergio Rico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Sergio Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Faustino Refugio came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Encina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Refugio couldn't finish the play. Tiburcio Nuno made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Joel Sugoi sent off a good shot on target. The Barrilete FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Encina were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Beltxe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Teofilo Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Gombal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tobias Duarte. Barrilete FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Barrilete FC's goalkeeper Tobias Duarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Rico. Joel Sugoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Tiburcio Nuno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Encina walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
