An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Ibon in the 17th minute of play forced Carpintería's goalkeeper Lucas Ted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Ted tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Oihenarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Santo Sadurni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes in the game, Enzo Frechoso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lucas Ted having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Frechoso in the 39th minute of play forced Carpintería's goalkeeper Lucas Ted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Christian Sindo took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Lucas Ted to make any attempt to save it. Fermin Galsino kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Carpintería's Moises Elia got a free kick in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enzo Frechoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christian Sindo's late challenge caught a Carpintería's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Sindo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Carpintería booed when Los Pibes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Sindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Birila took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bonifacio Iyan. Los Pibes FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Enzo Frechoso struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Lucas Ted didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Pibes FC. The audience was convinced that Enzo Frechoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Ted was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Carpintería defense, Jaime Oihenarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Ted. The Carpintería fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Ted should have stopped the shot. If Reynaldo Ibon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Los Pibes FC were the better team. Los Pibes FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
