With a little luck, C.ATL. 9 DE JULIO's Antonio Maurino got control of the ball when Enrique Prejun tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Antonio Maurino managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Boca's Gualterio Peruanton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andres Roano during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ramiro Balesio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Antonio Maurino made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Boca's Gualterio Peruanton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antonio Maurino. Antonio Maurino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Gualterio Peruanton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Peruanton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Maurino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 23 played minutes C.ATL. 9 DE JULIO got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Harriet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Salomon in the 29th minute of play forced Boca's goalkeeper Jose Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
