After some careless play in the Independiente Rivadavia defense, Cipriano Fraco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodoro Celipe. The Independiente Rivadavia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodoro Celipe should have stopped the shot. Santiago Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Sadurni having to interfere. Teodoro Celipe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Laurin's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Los Perros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Uxio came free, but Damian Sadurni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Fraco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Primitivo Uxio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ismael Frantzes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Los Perros FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Norberto Constancio hit a great ball. Aquiles Laurin might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Celipe. After 68 minutes, Nereo Furtado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Perros FC and the Independiente Rivadavia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aquiles Laurins short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Teodoro Celipe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Teodoro Celipe made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Aquiles Laurin sent off a good shot on target. Los Perros FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
