Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Blas Silviano started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Casimiro Egun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimiro Egun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efrain Gorosti in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Israel Sansone saved Barcelona De Argentina from getting behind. Efrain Gorosti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casimiro Egun in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Israel Sansone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gilberto Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Barcelona De Argentina's Cirilo Reno got a free kick in the 14th minute. Israel Sansone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Inge in the 16th minute of play. Barcelona De Argentina's Israel Sansone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Egun in the 17th minute of play. If Casimiro Egun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Ekaitz got free with Abelardo Bemabe in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Ekaitzs short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Abelardo Bemabe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Hector Montae got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 30 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Seguinus. Dante Ekaitz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Abelardo Bemabe firmly grabbed it by the left post. Casimiro Egun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel Sansone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Gorosti in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona De Argentina's zone, Gilberto Bartolome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Sansone came out of the goal and Gilberto Bartolome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Egun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Casimiro Egun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Sansone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Israel Sansone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Egun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Casimiro Egun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efrain Gorosti struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Israel Sansone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Central. In the 60th minute Casimiro Egun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Sansone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona De Argentina's zone, Gilberto Bartolome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Sansone came out of the goal and Gilberto Bartolome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Kismi came free, but Abelardo Bemabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Egun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Sansone having to interfere. Eustaquio Reno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Israel Sansone having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Hector Montae got a free kick in the 78th minute. Cirilo Seguinus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Israel Sansone. Barcelona De Argentina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Casimiro Egun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Israel Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimiro Egun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Sansone having to interfere. Abelardo Bemabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Kismi in the 88th minute of play. Casimiro Egun might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Israel Sansone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Casimiro Egun ran back to his position shaking his head.
