After 10 minutes of play, Medonga Clúb De Fútbol's Severo Kimetz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Fortun was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Julio Goi got free with Baldomero Fortun in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Natalio Blasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baldomero Fortun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natalio Blasco ran back to his position shaking his head. Eusebio Bittor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Fortun having to interfere. Conrado Orlanda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baldomero Fortun came out and tried to block the shot, but Conrado Orlanda slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. After 26 minutes, Severo Kimetz made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Saira's Baldomero Fortun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Severo Kimetz, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 33 minutes, Eusebio Bittor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medonga Clúb De Fútbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Bittor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Medonga Clúb De Fútbol's Severo Kimetz got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebio Bittor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Saira got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Hegoi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Gombal in the 46th minute of play forced Medonga Clúb De Fútbol's goalkeeper Narciso Ilixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severo Kimetz to make the kick off. When Medonga Clúb De Fútbol's Severo Kimetz in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 63 minutes, Natalio Blasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medonga Clúb De Fútbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Blasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Natalio Blasco notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Saira's Baldomero Fortun. Baldomero Fortun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Severo Kimetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Natalio Blasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Fortun having to interfere. When Natalio Blasco came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Medonga Clúb De Fútbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Blasco couldn't finish the play. If Severo Kimetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Orlanda hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Saira's Leonardo Hegoi got a free kick in the 85th minute. After some careless play in the Saira defense, Natalio Blasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Fortun. The Saira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Fortun should have stopped the shot.
