The audience was convinced that Baldomiro Jeraldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Lucero was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 30 played minutes, Delarik.fc's Rosendo Peter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Siro Lucero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Delarik.fc reached it. 41 minutes into the match, Delarik.fc's goalkeeper Luciano Gregory had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Dacio. If Humberto Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luciano Gregory showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Sal, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. A collision led to Pepo getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marcos Mateo hit a great ball. After the first half Delarik.fc were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulises Gerazan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Enrique Dacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes of play, Pepo's Ulises Gerazan made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luciano Gregory was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pepo's Enrique Dacio got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Delarik.fc players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
