Gonzalo Domenec scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erubiel Mendez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Gonzalo Domenec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Uspallata FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arnulfo Endura hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arsenio Ospetsu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Aureliano Maria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Ignado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Arsenio Ospetsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uspallata FC's Erubiel Mendez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erubiel Mendez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzalo Domenec in the 64th minute. If Hugo Sindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenio Ospetsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Mendez having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atilano Arias in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dionisio Ignado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Ovidio Sanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Sindo struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Dionisio Ignado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uspallata FC. Atilano Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Ignado having to interfere. If Gonzalo Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Uspallata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Ospetsu came free, but Erubiel Mendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atilano Arias in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dionisio Ignado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Patriotas del Cerro walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
