Zacarias Porfirio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Joey, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Gaspar Reynardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Israel Jacob struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Leonardo Paio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resbalito FC. Leopoldo Pes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Zacarias Porfirio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Paio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Jacob, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hualfín's zone, Israel Jacob stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Paio came out of the goal and Israel Jacob tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Hualfín's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Jacob came free, but Leonardo Paio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Reynardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Paio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Reynardo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Israel Jacob, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 31 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Leonardo Paio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gustavo Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Bernardo Daunte in the 41st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Zacarias Porfirio's left hand side. Zacarias Porfirio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Pes in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Cosme Joey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Porfirio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Israel Jacob stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Reynardo in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Paio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Hualfín's Dionisio Phelipe got a free kick in the 56th minute. Resbalito FC's Israel Jacob got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Pes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Zacarias Porfirio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Leopoldo Pes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cosme Joey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Cosme Joey fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Resbalito FC booed when Hualfín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 minutes, Israel Jacob mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resbalito FC and the Hualfín players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Matias Erramu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Hualfín supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hualfín would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
