The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pablo Gau made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Reynaldo Giraldo sent off a good shot on target. Reynaldo Giraldo in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pablo Gau, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 18th minute, Ceferino Senon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pablo Gau was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dario Pagomari showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Dario Pagomari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Felipe Silvino came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Tafí AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Silvino couldn't finish the play. Dario Pagomari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Gau having to interfere. Pablo Gau was a little too slow when Reynaldo Giraldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-0. Reynaldo Giraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Pablo Gau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Pagomari to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Tafí AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Giraldo came free, but Pablo Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Giraldo in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Gau saved Tafí AFC from getting behind. In the 81st minute Dario Pagomari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dario Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Pagomari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Gau having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Dario Pagomari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Gau was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 91 minutes into the match, Tafí AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Giraldo came free, but Pablo Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tafí AFC's goalkeeper Pablo Gau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arsenal de sarandi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
