Apolo Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Celio, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 14th minute Tiburcio Celio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Nofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apolo Nofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Celio in the 16th minute of play. Tacañitas FC's Santos Salvator couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cubanea FC. Tiburcio Celio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Apolo Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Benjamin Hitz fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cubanea FC's protests and gave Benjamin Hitz a yellow card for diving instead. Santos Salvator shot from long distance in the 25th minute, but Apolo Nofre was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Apolo Nofre was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tiburcio Celio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiburcio Celio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Benjamin Indalecio came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Tacañitas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Indalecio couldn't finish the play. 4-0 became the score in the 94th minute when Benjamin Indalecio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
