In the 21st minute of the match Arnulfo Camerino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Chumo skillfully saved the ball. Cazón AFC's Fausto Mero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Cazón AFC from getting a goal against them. Fernan Chaime sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Fernan Chaime managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cazón AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernan Chaime was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Chumo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the game, Damian Pierres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vicente Chumo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Oxigeno FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cazón AFC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernan Chaime stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ubaldo Leizarraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Fernan Chaime dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vicente Chumo, 0-3. After having played for 61 minutes, Fernan Chaime managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cazón AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Chaime was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rogelio Shantala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Oxigeno FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fernan Chaime fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
