Zacarias Ugaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Monigotes FC's Jacobo Koldo got control of the ball when Zacarias Ugaitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monigotes FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Koldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zacarias Ugaitz in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacobo Koldo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jacobo Koldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Raymon in the 21st minute of play. Fermin Benet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ciro Raymon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Monigotes FC's Fermin Benet got a free kick in the 25th minute. When Generoso Huly fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monigotes FC's protests and gave Generoso Huly a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Generoso Huly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Ugaitz in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacobo Koldo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ciro Raymon might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Koldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Raymon ran back to his position shaking his head. Monigotes FC's Jacobo Koldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Raymon in the 34th minute of play. If Ciro Raymon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Koldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Raymon in the 41st minute of play. Ciro Raymon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Koldo having to interfere. Jacobo Koldo made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Zacarias Ugaitz sent off a good shot on target. Quequén's Ciro Raymon got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciro Raymon was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Mario Elija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Koldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Quequén's Ciro Raymon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Koldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Zacarias Ugaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quequén's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Ugaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Koldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Generoso Huly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Delmar Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Quequén got a freekick which was hit by Mario Elija. Generoso Huly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Demario having to interfere. When Fermin Benet came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Monigotes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Benet couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Koldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Raymon in the 80th minute of the match. If Ciro Raymon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Ugaitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Koldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zacarias Ugaitz ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Monigotes FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quequén:s goal. Jacobo Koldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Raymon in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Quequén players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
