Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Curacó FC's Epifanio Hondo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Iker Cresitobalo fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curacó FC's protests and gave Iker Cresitobalo a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Curacó FC got a freekick which was hit by Iker Cresitobalo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Madeo in the 5th minute of play forced Curacó FC's goalkeeper Ciro Gai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Madeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ciro Gai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, RIVER FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Teobaldo Norino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustin Kepa. Teobaldo Norino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Hondo in the 17th minute of play. Epifanio Hondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, Eugenio Cordareo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacó FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RIVER FUTBOL CLUB the free kick. Agustin Kepa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustin Senin during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, RIVER FUTBOL CLUB's Agustin Senin got a free kick in the 26th minute. Curacó FC's Agustin Kepa got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Segundo Danel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ciro Gai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Segundo Danel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Danel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Gai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, RIVER FUTBOL CLUB's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Agustin Kepa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Agustin Kepa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teobaldo Norino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Epifanio Hondo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. Agustin Kepa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Agustin Kepa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Segundo Danel made a kick off. Timoteo Anaya kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Agustin Kepa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Norino having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanio Hondo in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teobaldo Norino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute, Curacó FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Segundo Danel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Agustin Kepa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Norino having to interfere. Severino Eate kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Curacó FC's Epifanio Hondo got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to RIVER FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Desiderio Abella hit a great ball. Curacó FC were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after RIVER FUTBOL CLUB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan Txaran took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Iker Cresitobalo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. During the 74th minute of the match Iker Cresitobalo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Iker Cresitobalo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 74th match minute, Curacó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Cresitobalo to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Mitxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Norino having to interfere. The supporters of Curacó FC booed when RIVER FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. RIVER FUTBOL CLUB's Teobaldo Norino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Kepa in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Curacó FC had won after a very even match.
