Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Generoso Tartalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Jacobo Garcia made a huge save. Generoso Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jacobo Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Enaut in the 9th minute of play forced Pichaihué's goalkeeper Jacobo Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Garcia having to interfere. The supporters of Salado FC booed when Pichaihué was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Tadzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Nazario's shot from long distance in the 18th minute was not bad at all, but Pichaihué's Jacobo Garcia knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Siro Xabat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Padro having to interfere. If Generoso Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Blas Enaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Enaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 33 minutes, Generoso Tartalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salado FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Tartalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Enaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Garcia made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Generoso Tartalo sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute Blas Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blas Enaut to make the kick off. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Salado FC! In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Pichaihué. Eulalio Salvadore stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mariano Padro. 1-1. Siro Xabat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Padro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Salado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Gai to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Generoso Tartalo in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, Salado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Xabat came free, but Mariano Padro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pichaihué's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
