Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Freddy Arce was extremely unlucky when he, in the 3rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 5 minutes of play, Azul's Ovidio Ortle made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Etxahun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aurelio Abadie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Vargas having to interfere. Omar Etxahun came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Azul's Ovidio Ortle. But to his dismay, Ovidio Ortle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Omar Etxahun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Carmelo Jacob fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azul's protests and gave Carmelo Jacob a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Jacob to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Pastor Libertad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lázaro Tonete kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Fornidos y en Tanga's Victor Benvide broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 34th minute, Matias Fernado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aurelio Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Abadie struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ruben Vargas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fornidos y en Tanga.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Abadie made a kick off. Ruben Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Abadie in the 53rd minute of play. Aurelio Abadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ruben Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Abadie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruben Vargas was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azul's goalkeeper Ruben Vargas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pastor Libertads short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Ruben Vargas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 66thth minute of the game Aurelio Abadie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Azul's Ruben Vargas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruben Vargas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Libertad in the 69th minute. Omar Etxahun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pastor Libertad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes Fornidos y en Tanga got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Caetano. In the 79th minute Freddy Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Etxahun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Pastor Libertad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fornidos y en Tanga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The Azul players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
