The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Augusto Llin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hilario Abecia went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Everardo Guerau fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uriburu's protests and gave Everardo Guerau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Everardo Guerau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Llin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Abecia in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Angel Niguel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Augusto Llin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hilario Abecia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Augusto Llin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Llin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angel Niguel's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. If Hilario Abecia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Uriburu's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Niguel came free, but Augusto Llin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosendo Cresencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Bartoli having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice moves Angel Niguel could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Augusto Llin however easily saved by the left post. Uriburu's Augusto Llin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Uriburu from getting a goal against them. Hilario Abecia struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Augusto Llin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beltrán. After a rather tough play, Beltrán's Arturo Emesto got a free kick in the 67th minute. 0-3 became the score in the 73rd minute when Angel Niguel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Uriburu booed when Beltrán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Pirro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Uriburu fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Uriburu's Saverio Sayvion looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 82 minutes into the game, Beltrán's Hilario Abecia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Llin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. If Angel Niguel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th match minute, Beltrán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Pirro to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Beltrán left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Uriburu.
