Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Horquilla's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Vigil came free, but Mateo Matia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Benigno Ferrando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Matia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tiburcio Vigil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Horquilla's zone, Benigno Ferrando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Matia came out of the goal and Benigno Ferrando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horquilla's Mateo Matia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Ferrando in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Vigil in the 13th minute of play forced Horquilla's goalkeeper Mateo Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes of play, Salado's Tiburcio Vigil made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Matia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateo Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Vigil in the 19th minute of play. Joel Suarez's late challenge caught a Salado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Suarez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Joel Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benigno Ferrando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateo Matia came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Salado's Tiburcio Vigil. But to his dismay, Tiburcio Vigil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Benigno Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Matia having to interfere. The supporters of Salado booed when Horquilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Elivareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Ferrando in the 30th minute of play. Mateo Matia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquilino Cordearo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. If Benigno Ferrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

After having played for 53 minutes, Delmar Ihintza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Ihintza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Vigil in the 57th minute of play forced Horquilla's goalkeeper Mateo Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Matia was a little too slow when Tiburcio Vigil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Vigil in the 62nd minute of play forced Horquilla's goalkeeper Mateo Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Horquilla's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Vigil came free, but Mateo Matia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Horquilla getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Joel Suarez hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Horquilla's goalkeeper Mateo Matia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benigno Ferrando. With a little luck, Horquilla's Mateo Matia got control of the ball when Benigno Ferrando tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Vigil in the 73rd minute of play forced Horquilla's goalkeeper Mateo Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Horquilla defense, Benigno Ferrando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Matia. The Horquilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Matia should have stopped the shot. Benigno Ferrando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateo Matia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tiburcio Vigil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 87 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Camilo Elivareo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horquilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Elivareo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Taurino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th match minute, Salado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Ihintza to maneuver through the defense. Horquilla's Mateo Matia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Horquilla from getting a goal against them. Salado's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
