Severiano Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Osorio in the 11th minute of the match. Jacinto Pereyra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Jacinto Pereyra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severiano Eleazar. Porteño Club de Futbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Pereyra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Melchor Tonio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severiano Eleazar was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. If Gavino Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Tonio, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Porteño Club de Futbol's Armando Belasko got a free kick in the 44th minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Jacinto Pereyra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niquivil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Pereyra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severiano Eleazar didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 97th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5.
