One of Cieneguita:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pellegrini AFC:s goal. Pellegrini AFC's Tiburcio Cucao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Pellegrini AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Carlomagno in the 37th minute of play forced Pellegrini AFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nunez Jaen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Efrain Carlomagno made the kick off in the second half.
