Albino Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Lico, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 19th match minute, Olivos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Lopes to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Toldos's Santos Galindo tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jairo Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmar Lico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Franco having to interfere. When Jairo Richie came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Olivos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Richie couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Santana in the 41st minute of play forced Toldos's goalkeeper Jorge Sanson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haroldo Santana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Haroldo Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Haroldo Quico fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toldos's protests and gave Haroldo Quico a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Haroldo Quico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Richie struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Jorge Sanson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olivos AFC. 59 minutes into the match, Toldos's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Santana came free, but Jorge Sanson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Sanson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Richie in the 64th minute of play. Olivos AFC's Albino Franco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Olivos AFC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmar Lico in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albino Franco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Olivos AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Delmar Lico fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rodolfo Iratzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Fermin Totakoxe in the 76th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jorge Sanson's left hand side. Jorge Sanson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jorge Sanson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Delmar Lico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
