Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Benedicto Foro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Satordi having to make a save. Roberto Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Foro in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute Pablo Osoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 7 minutes, Pablo Osoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RACING CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Osoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Edgard Quin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RACING CLUB's Roberto Satordi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save RACING CLUB from getting a goal against them. Fermin Eudoxio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Osoitz in the 25th minute of the match. With his leg Roberto Satordi managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Ayres Urquiza's Moises Rivero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ayres Urquiza's Fermin Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Osoitz in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Ayres Urquiza's Benedicto Foro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Satordi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 38 minutes, Daniel Raebert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ayres Urquiza and the RACING CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of RACING CLUB booed when Ayres Urquiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Raebert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 minutes, Edgard Quin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ayres Urquiza's Fermin Eudoxio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgard Quin took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fermin Eudoxio. Fermin Eudoxio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

The wind increased when Benedicto Foro made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Moises Rivero notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of RACING CLUB's Roberto Satordi. Roberto Satordi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Moises Rivero came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ayres Urquiza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Rivero couldn't finish the play. Edgard Quin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Erubiel Nuñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, RACING CLUB's Gustavo Tulio got a free kick in the 69th minute. Roberto Satordi came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ayres Urquiza's Benedicto Foro. But to his dismay, Benedicto Foro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The supporters of RACING CLUB booed when Ayres Urquiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Nuñez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Benedicto Foro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Satordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute of the match Alfonso Jeraldo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Satordi skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to RACING CLUB getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Edgard Quin hit a great ball. After some careless play in the RACING CLUB defense, Moises Rivero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Satordi. The RACING CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Satordi should have stopped the shot.
