The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Jorrin got free with Jeronimo Bidari in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Ixaka in the 14th minute of play forced Nortonha's goalkeeper Jeronimo Bidari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeronimo Bidari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Jorrin in the 17th minute. Francisco Jorrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jeronimo Bidari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Jorrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Bidari having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Martin Kaiet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Buitres F.C.'s Damaso Abastas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Ixaka in the 29th minute of play forced Nortonha's goalkeeper Jeronimo Bidari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Ixaka was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Buitres F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Ixaka in the 36th minute of play forced Nortonha's goalkeeper Jeronimo Bidari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Buitres F.C.'s zone, Martin Kaiet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Tino came out of the goal and Martin Kaiet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Nortonha booed when Buitres F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Enaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Ruperto Foro made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Tino. Buitres F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruperto Foro was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Nortonha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Foro to maneuver through the defense. After 61 played minutes Buitres F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Acuña. Cesar Enaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jeronimo Bidari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Jorrin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeronimo Bidari having to make a save. If David Ixaka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Nortonha's Ruperto Foro got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Francisco Jorrin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nortonha's Jeronimo Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Ixaka in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Nortonha's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Jorrin came free, but Jeronimo Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Francisco Jorrin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buitres F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Jorrin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Buitres F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nortonha's performance. The match ended with a win for Nortonha.
