To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iker Gimenez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gogo Caitano in the 12th minute. If Gogo Caitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Green Bay booed when Torres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Palos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Ospin during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jorge Ospin hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Enzo Omero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Gimenez having to interfere. Gogo Caitano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 48th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.

The wind increased when Ernesto Pagomari made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Gogo Caitano made a precise shot to the right of Iker Gimenez. Green Bay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Green Bay's Iker Gimenez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Caitano in the 58th minute of play.
