Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Genaro Herensuge took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Angélica booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Cefero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Tobias Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Cefero hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The long shot by Marcelo Berart in the 8th minute really tested Arnaldo Naelio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Arnaldo Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Herensuge in the 10th minute of the match. If Tobias Nofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Caton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gervasio Diagur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaron Hanot's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Herensuge in the 20th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Arnaldo Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boca Juniors's Arnaldo Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Herensuge in the 24th minute of play. After 26 minutes of play Boca Juniors's Lucio Cefero was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Lucio Cefero got a free kick in the 27th minute. Arnaldo Naelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genaro Herensuge's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Gervasio Diagur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Nofre in the 29th minute of play. If Angelino Caton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Caton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Nofre was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Hanot to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelino Caton in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Naelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 played minutes, Angélica's Lisandro Egoitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnaldo Naelio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Angélica reached it. In the 68th minute, Angelino Caton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Naelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Arnaldo Naelio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Genaro Herensuge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angélica's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Herensuge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Naelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Genaro Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnaldo Naelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Herensuge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Angelino Caton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Genaro Herensuge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Hanot during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Genaro Herensuge came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Angélica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Herensuge couldn't finish the play. Boca Juniors's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
