Arnoldo Mero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, Trevelín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Mero to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Trevelín getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Honorio Ticho hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, CAI de Flores's Omar Ruy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Higinio Etxahun. Higinio Etxahun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Isaac Guillen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Higinio Etxahun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Etxahun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Ruy in the 22nd minute of the match. Isaac Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute Ubaldo Afonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Padro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Isaac Guillen came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the CAI de Flores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Guillen couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Trevelín's Nunez Hug got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Isaac Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Marin hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Higinio Etxahun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Guillen, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Trevelín's Higinio Etxahun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Ruy in the 69th minute of play. Leopoldo Padro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Marin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Moises Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trevelín's protests and gave Moises Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Trevelín got a freekick which was hit by Moises Furtado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Guillen in the 89th minute of play forced Trevelín's goalkeeper Higinio Etxahun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CAI de Flores's Isaac Guillen got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 minutes, Omar Ruy made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Trevelín's Higinio Etxahun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
