After recieving a nice pass, peñarol mdq's Fernan Dolfo tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Casimiro Guipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Tomas Felipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Bartuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Oscar Sedeni managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when peñarol mdq's Casimiro Guipuzkoa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Morris FC's Tomas Felipo in the 49th minute got a chance for a shot 49th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye peñarol mdq's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romulo Orlondo was the one to do the kick off. Fernan Dolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. peñarol mdq's Alfredo Bartuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Claris in the 59th minute of play. After 60 played minutes peñarol mdq got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Asur. In the 64th match minute, Morris FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Frisco to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, peñarol mdq's Ernesto Brun got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Alfredo Bartuelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hilario Claris in the 74th minute. Nemesio Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Casimiro Guipuzkoa sped through Morris FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oscar Sedeni. The audience was convinced that Casimiro Guipuzkoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Sedeni was relentless in the 84th minute of the game.
