In the 23rd minute Federico Tirso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Cordarrol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Tirso in the 25th minute of play forced Martilleros's goalkeeper Celso Cordarrol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Gagriel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 49thth minute tested the skills of Celso Cordarrol when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Federico Tirso made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Federico Tirso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hilario Gagriel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Celso Cordarrol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martilleros:s Celso Cordarrol showed great skill when he stopped Lázaro Urtungo:s penalty. When Federico Tirso came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Tablada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Tirso couldn't finish the play. After 71 minutes, Ermegildo Loren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Martilleros and the Tablada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ermegildo Loren kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Federico Tirso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Federico Tirso came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Tablada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Tirso couldn't finish the play. Federico Tirso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th match minute, Martilleros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Nafarroa to maneuver through the defense. Celso Cordarrol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Tirso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Tirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Celso Cordarrol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Tablada players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
