When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Angelo Aragones sped through Independiente FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benedicto Domeka. Arnulfo Lapurdi struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Benedicto Domeka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balcosna. Benedicto Domeka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustin Mark went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Moise stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Balcosna booed when Independiente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Pudes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independiente FC's goalkeeper Benedicto Domeka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benedicto Domeka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Aragones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godofredo Celipe charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Balcosna's Orlando Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Ofelio in the 76th minute of play. Angelo Aragones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Domeka having to interfere. Independiente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Ofelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Benedicto Domeka managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Balcosna's Agustin Mark fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Agustin Mark who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Benedicto Domeka when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Aragones in the 91st minute of play forced Independiente FC's goalkeeper Benedicto Domeka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Albino Mantzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Aragones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
