Guatana AFC's Rene Selmo got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvestre Justin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Salbatore having to interfere. Saul Efraim's late challenge caught a Guatana AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Dalmau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Isthilart's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Berart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Dalmau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Isthilart fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guatana AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
