Pizza a la Deta FC's Marcelo Harriet got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julian Abar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Harriet's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Harriet was the one to do the kick off. The attack was good, but when Marcelo Harriet in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Tunal AFC were furious when Efrain Lia was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 65 minutes into the game, one of Tunal AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Damian Gartzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Luix, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When Tobias Cibran fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tunal AFC's protests and gave Tobias Cibran a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tunal AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tobias Cibran hit a great ball. Apolo Cordera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Abar having to interfere. When Marcelo Harriet came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Pizza a la Deta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Harriet couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Tunal AFC's goalkeeper Julian Abar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Apolo Cordera. If Marcelo Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Pizza a la Deta FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Pizza a la Deta FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Tunal AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
