The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejandro Garci got free with Emilio Tab in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emilio Tab came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pellegrini's Alejandro Garci. But to his dismay, Alejandro Garci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Onna FC's Emilio Tab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Onna FC from getting a goal against them. Benito Frederico hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Ferman in the 18th minute of play forced Pellegrini's goalkeeper Alvaro Sansone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Cordarius took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emilio Tab. Onna FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Benito Frederico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 minutes, Celso Cordarius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pellegrini and the Onna FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 30 minutes into the game, one of Pellegrini:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Arnulfo Fernado shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Gerardo Ilazki came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Onna FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Ilazki couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes in the game, Alejandro Garci fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Emilio Tab having to interfere. If Gerardo Ilazki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benito Frederico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Ferman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Alvaro Sansone skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With an all-out effort, Onna FC's Alvaro Sansone threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gerardo Ilazki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Alejandro Garci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Onna FC's zone, Benito Frederico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Tab came out of the goal and Benito Frederico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Benito Frederico notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Onna FC's Emilio Tab. Emilio Tab was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnulfo Fernado hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Pellegrini's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Ilazki came free, but Alvaro Sansone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Sansone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Ilazki in the 90th minute of the match. Gerardo Ilazki was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pellegrini had won after a very even match.
