In the 21st minute Miguel Su shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Abar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Deportivo Garça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Segio to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Teofilo Roldan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. OMBU Central's Omar Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guaberto Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Su in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Omar Vidal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Mannie was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Sixto Kinsen hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Flavio Beltran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Mannie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. If Omar Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 53rd match minute, OMBU Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Barto to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Miguel Su hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Sixto Kinsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Vidal might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Mannie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Vidal ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Su got free with Guaberto Abar in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guaberto Abar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Su in the 96th minute.
