Mateo Sarracino's late challenge caught a Montiel AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Sarracino helped the player get up and apologised. Mateo Sarracino kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Scaramazia F.C.'s Amancio Elija got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th of the match, Amancio Patrido tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Mauricio Frasco got in the way and made a wonderful save. Amancio Patrido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauricio Frasco having to make a save. After having played for 43 minutes, Gonzalo Sanduru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montiel AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Sanduru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Gonzalo Sanduru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amancio Patrido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gonzalo Sanduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Amancio Patrido came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Montiel AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Patrido couldn't finish the play. Gonzalo Sanduru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Frasco having to interfere. Sebastian Mirande didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Scaramazia F.C.'s Ovidio Silbestre shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Arnoldo Berriotxoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Scaramazia F.C.'s Mauricio Frasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Sanduru in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Scaramazia F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
