Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Luix started the match with the kick off. Emiliano Ferdinand in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Freddy Aureo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Freddy Aureo stood somewhat misplaced when Emiliano Ferdinand came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 5 minute. In the 9th minute Bruno Koldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Padro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Silvino in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Padro saved Queñoal from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amancio Gutierrez during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Francisco Salbatore, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 19th minute, Eliseo Silvino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Eliseo Silvino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogelio Padro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Benito Mitxel hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Tucumán AFC's Freddy Aureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luix in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Queñoal's Emiliano Ferdinand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddy Aureo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Emiliano Ferdinand's late challenge caught a Tucumán AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiliano Ferdinand helped the player get up and apologised. Emiliano Ferdinand hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Emiliano Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Aureo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tucumán AFC's zone, Pedro Luix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Aureo came out of the goal and Pedro Luix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd match minute, Tucumán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Mitxel to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Luix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Gutierrez got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Queñoal getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Amancio Gutierrez hit a great ball. Emiliano Ferdinand kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliseo Silvino to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Pedro Luix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Silvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rogelio Padro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Queñoal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bruno Koldo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rogelio Padro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Silvino in the 61st minute of play. Queñoal's Rogelio Padro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Silvino in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eliseo Silvino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogelio Padro was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After 78 minutes, Pedro Luix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Queñoal and the Tucumán AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Francisco Salbatore was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Eliseo Silvino came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Tucumán AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Silvino couldn't finish the play. When Benito Mitxel fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tucumán AFC's protests and gave Benito Mitxel a yellow card for diving instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
