Angel Casado didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Gai in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Panpili saved Progreso AFC from getting behind. If Primitivo Jaume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Benigno Marz from long distance, 8 minutes into the match, got Jacinto Panpili's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Aureliano Cebrian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rene Dimo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Progreso AFC's Justo Bernard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Dimo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 20th minute, Primitivo Jaume fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 21st match minute, Progreso AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Casado to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Fighiera FC's Primitivo Jaume nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Panpili made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Rene Dimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Cebrian in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Florentino Kismi fired a really elegant long shot, but Jacinto Panpili threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Primitivo Jaume struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jacinto Panpili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fighiera FC. Primitivo Jaume who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Jacinto Panpili when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Osvaldo Gai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jacinto Panpili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Osvaldo Gai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Gai made a kick off. Jacinto Panpili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Jaume in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th minute Osvaldo Gai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Panpili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Progreso AFC's goalkeeper Jacinto Panpili, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Osvaldo Gai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Progreso AFC's Israel Marquez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rene Dimo but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Gai in the 67th minute of play forced Progreso AFC's goalkeeper Jacinto Panpili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Florentino Kismi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacinto Panpili showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Justo Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Fighiera FC's Esteban Mattin got a free kick in the 79th minute. Aureliano Cebrian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Dimo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Jaume in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Panpili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Progreso AFC's zone, Osvaldo Gai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Panpili came out of the goal and Osvaldo Gai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Panpili having to interfere. Jacinto Panpili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Gai, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Jacinto Panpili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Gai in the 95th minute of the match. Progreso AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Fighiera FC had controlled the match.
