After having played for 11 minutes, Diego Arano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trapalcó AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Arano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alvaro Jeraldo fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zavalía FC's protests and gave Alvaro Jeraldo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Trapalcó AFC booed when Zavalía FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Jeraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anibal Lucila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Geleberto in the 18th minute of the match. Lucas Berbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Anibal Lucila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Diego Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Severo Geleberto came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Zavalía FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Geleberto couldn't finish the play. Severo Geleberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes Trapalcó AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Ibar. Zavalía FC's Severo Geleberto got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anibal Lucila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Geleberto in the 30th minute of play. Ismael Eriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anibal Lucila was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Severo Geleberto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Severo Geleberto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Eriz during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ismael Eriz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Lucas Berbiz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Anibal Lucila when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Trapalcó AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Lucas Berbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Anibal Lucila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anibal Lucila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Berbiz in the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Zavalía FC's Severo Geleberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anibal Lucila made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Geleberto in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anibal Lucila saved Trapalcó AFC from getting behind. Ismael Eriz took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anibal Lucila. Anibal Lucila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.
