After a defensive mix-up in Vinalito AFC's zone, Siro Bermudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Tristan came out of the goal and Siro Bermudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rumo's Abel Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Meder in the 11th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Rumo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Lluis to maneuver through the defense. If Siro Bermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes, Vinalito AFC's Guido Cordeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abel Luke came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vinalito AFC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Rumo's zone, Teodosio Dayam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Luke came out of the goal and Teodosio Dayam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Luke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodosio Dayam's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rumo's goalkeeper Abel Luke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Placido Meder made a precise shot to the right of Abel Luke. Rumo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Siro Bermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dario Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Placido Meder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vinalito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Meder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Luke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute, Vinalito AFC's Placido Meder dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. With a little luck, Rumo's Abel Luke got control of the ball when Teodosio Dayam tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Dayam got free with Abel Luke in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Vinalito AFC booed when Rumo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Policarpio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Gaztea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abel Luke. Rumo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Segundo Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumo's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Luke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Tristan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albano Cheche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th match minute, Rumo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. Vinalito AFC's Rolando Gaztea couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rumo. The Vinalito AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
