Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) Chañaritos AFC's Guaberto Iraido started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Delmar Dino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute Emilio Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Emilio Rufio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Delmar Dino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Emilio Rufio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Delmar Dino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eloy Abalos during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 32 minutes into the match, Chañaritos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Rufio came free, but Lázaro Austin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chañaritos AFC's goalkeeper Lázaro Austin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emilio Rufio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Dino in the 37th minute of play forced Chañaritos AFC's goalkeeper Lázaro Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chañaritos AFC's zone, Delmar Dino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Austin came out of the goal and Delmar Dino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anacleto Osmundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Austin having to interfere. Lázaro Austin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Rufio in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Rufio made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Delmar Dino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lázaro Austin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th match minute, CA Geológicos Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Blasi to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Chañaritos AFC's zone, Emilio Rufio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Austin came out of the goal and Emilio Rufio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, CA Geológicos Juniors's Delmar Dino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lázaro Austin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Guaberto Iraido came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Chañaritos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Iraido couldn't finish the play. If Guaberto Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Ongile might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmar Piearres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofilo Ongile ran back to his position shaking his head. Guaberto Iraido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Piearres having to interfere. When Teofilo Ongile came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Chañaritos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Ongile couldn't finish the play. Teofilo Ongile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, CA Geológicos Juniors's Artemio Bazkoare got a free kick in the 85th minute. CA Geológicos Juniors's Delmar Dino got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lázaro Austin had great luck who in the 91stth minute grab hold of the ball when Emilio Rufio from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 95th minute of the match Gaudencio Fernado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delmar Piearres skillfully saved the ball. CA Geológicos Juniors played a much better game than Chañaritos AFC and deserved their victory. The Chañaritos AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
