In the 8th minute Angel Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Henric saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Freddy Natal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Naldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Casimiro Abel kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Angel Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Ovando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Naldo having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Freddy Natal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Naldo was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Maximino Ovando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute, Maximino Ovando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Chucul's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Natal came free, but Paulo Naldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Casimiro Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rivadavia's Pablo Henric proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Rivadavia from getting a goal against them. When Rivadavia's Maximino Ovando in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chucul's goalie prevented a goal. Pablo Henric showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Turi in the 45th minute of the match. If Maximino Ovando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Chucul's Paulo Naldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Natal in the 53rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Rivadavia's Paulo Naldo threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Freddy Natal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genaro Calvino during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rivadavia booed when Chucul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Ovando took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Naldo. Paulo Naldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 69 minutes into the match, Maximino Ovando dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulo Naldo, 0-3. After 73 played minutes Chucul got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Sauveur. The long shot by Rigoberto Domingues in the 74th minute really tested Paulo Naldo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 76 minutes of play, Rivadavia's Maximino Ovando made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Naldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Angel Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Crispo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
