Luisito Salamon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Azubeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 23rd minute, Leonardo Azubeli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Flavio Platon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dominguito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ezeiza the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Dominguito FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ezeiza:s goal. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Ezeiza. Hipolito Azibar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Claudio Pudes. 1-0. The supporters of Ezeiza booed when Dominguito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Azubeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 played minutes Dominguito FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Ortle. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Leonardo Azubeli made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ezeiza's zone, Leonardo Azubeli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After a rather tough play, Ezeiza's Marciano Iturri got a free kick in the 68th minute. Dominguito FC made a substitution. Gonzalo Loco replaced Bernardo Llorienzo. 72 minutes into the match, Augusto Erlantz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudio Pudes.
