Eleuterio Baumar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ipizca defense, Ruben Gonzales kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulises Abajas. The Ipizca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulises Abajas should have stopped the shot. Gastona F.C.'s Eleuterio Baumar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Gastona F.C. from getting a goal against them. Gastona F.C.'s Eleuterio Baumar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Escobar in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Gastona F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Gonzales. The crowd rose to their feet as Ipizca's Abel Escobar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eleuterio Baumar. That made the score 1-1 after 31 minutes of play. With a little luck, Gastona F.C.'s Eleuterio Baumar got control of the ball when Marcial Balesio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abel Escobar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eleuterio Baumar came out and tried to block the shot, but Abel Escobar slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Marcial Balesio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ipizca's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcial Balesio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Baumar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Escobar made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Balesio in the 53rd minute of play forced Gastona F.C.'s goalkeeper Eleuterio Baumar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Escobar took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eleuterio Baumar. Eleuterio Baumar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. If Mauricio Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Qwinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Albino Qwinton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Ipizca's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
