Maximino Basajaun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Tabb's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Rogelio Nabar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Tabb in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Basajaun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Medinas's goalkeeper Maximino Basajaun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramon Adrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Dorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A collision led to Cannabis United getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Rogelio Nabar hit a great ball. In the 20th match minute, Cannabis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Nabar to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Raul Celipe notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cannabis United's Ramon Adrio. Maximino Basajaun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Medinas's zone, Celso Iaki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Basajaun came out of the goal and Celso Iaki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erubiel Lartaun's late challenge caught a Cannabis United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Lartaun helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Medinas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cannabis United:s goal. The referee gave Cannabis United a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carolo Lopez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Medinas's Maximino Basajaun. 1-1. Severo Tabb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celso Iaki succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. The audience was convinced that Severo Tabb's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximino Basajaun was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Tabb in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Basajaun saved Medinas from getting behind. Severo Tabb who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Maximino Basajaun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Severo Tabb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Basajaun having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Severo Tabb took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Maximino Basajaun to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Severo Tabb kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maximino Basajaun. That made the score 1-5 in the 64 minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Medinas's goalkeeper Maximino Basajaun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severo Tabb. The supporters of Cannabis United booed when Medinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Costante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severo Tabb who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Maximino Basajaun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Cannabis United defense, Paulino Dorio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Adrio. The Cannabis United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Adrio should have stopped the shot. If Severo Tabb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th play minute Marcial Maidana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maximino Basajaun. 2-6. Maximino Basajaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Tabb in the 89th minute of the match. Cannabis United's Severo Tabb got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulino Balasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Basajaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Tabb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Iaki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Basajaun having to interfere. In the 99th minute, Severo Tabb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
